Study On Water Resources Protection In Waken River Basin

In recent years, water pollution had significantly influenced the social economic development of the cities in the upstream of Woken River. The pollution mainly came from industrial wastewater, urban sewage, garbage and the utilization of pesticide chemical fertilizers, and was getting worse. The pollution had made it difficult to guarantee the quality of drinking water and had become a threat to the sustainable development and living environment. It had the same effect on people in the downstream. There was great significance in protecting the water resources and boosting sustainable development.The research was targeting on improving the water quality of the wo Ken River and to better change the ecosystem while utilizing effectively the resources. In the concept of boosting sustainable environment, the research would analyze the entire environmental status of the river and the cause of the pollution in order to find out the scientific, reasonable and systematical solution to improve the quality of the water and to gradually reduce the pollution and secure the quality and safety of the water resource and to realize sustainable development.
