Study On The Planning Method Of Bus Hub Transfer

With the concept of bus priority progresses, public transport plays an important role in a city’s traffic. So, as an urban public transport planning operations important part, transit hub has an irreplaceable position. However, domestic and foreign research scholars. focus more on the transit hub’s transfer between underground rail transport hub and with other modes of transport than the existing ground transportation hub planning layout. In this context, this paper studies the layouts of ground transportation hubs.This paper adopts the method of combining theory and case analysis to enrich the theory of public transit hubs’ layouts. Secondly, the paper establishes a simple and practical model to obtain the optimal layout in the hub. Finally, the paper uses numerical example to verify the correctness of the model. This study has two core focuses:Firstly, this paper research transportation hub layout’s mode and analyze the typical domestic and international hub layout case. After a preliminary overview of the transit hub theory, this dissertation divides the existing ground transportation hub layout mode into two types:the layouts of hubs only with one transport mode and the layouts of hubs with different transport modes. And this paper proposes determinant layout, border layout, island’s layout, semi-circular layout, T layout, U layout and so on. Then, the paper take Hangzhou Huanglong transit hub, Beijing Qianmen transit hub and so on as examples to analyze the layout mode, pedestrians transfer method and applicability.Secondly, this paper mainly researches the hubs’ station layouts. The research of stations’ layouts includes two major categories:the qualitative research of platform layouts modes and the quantitative research of lines planning method. In qualitative research, the paper classifies platform arrangement into single-channel arrangement of platform layout, multi-channel arrangement of platform layout and the combined type. And the dissertation set forth their specific arrangement form, advantages and disadvantages, and applicability. In quantitative research, the paper selects pedestrians’distance between different platforms, pedestrians’ distance between the hub and passenger distribution points, and the vehicles’distance in the hub as indexes to establish the model. Then, this paper uses the combined platform and single platform as examples to verify the correctness of models.This research mainly sums up the different types of hub station layout from the perspective of hubs’micro-layout, and establishes a simple and practical model. The results of the research not only help to enrich the theory of public transit hub layout, also have some practical value.
