The fossil energy is drying up, but the demand of industry and life for energy is greatly increasing day by day, so the exploitation of alternative energy is already extremely urgency. There have been large amount of tidal power in our country, it is far-reaching significant to optimize our country’s energy consumption structure and relieve the energy situation of coastal regions to use tidal power to generate electricity efficiently.Blade, the important part of horizontal axis trend to power system, is directly related to the whole trend of capturing energy device. A good designed blade will directly effect to the power generation efficiency. The performance of blade is disturbed by many external factors. It is greatly limited the blade radius by only three or four meters deep in the shallow sea areas, so the blade can’t send out the expected power. If we can design the blade according to this situation of suitable for the shallow waters, we can greatly improve the efficiency of blade convert. Now the blade designed for a particular environment is less at home and abroad. So,the article is mainly started from the area of shallow sea water and low speed water to improve blade design efficiency. This article is mainly from the following several aspects.First of all, the parameter design of blade, the article analyzed the reason why the blade conversion efficiency is low by the basic theoretical analysis. We can make up his lack of leaf through the specific parameters of the design. This article is mainly from the airfoil generate lift area and blade radius two aspects to carry on the design. Then, the blade design of 3 d model and theoretical model analysis, verified the rationality of the design of blade by comparing with the immersion depth of different radius blade work. Finally, the experimental verification, the experiment are compared by blade performance test platform for two kinds of blades to verify the correctness of the theory and design.
