Studies have found that failure modes of high speed angular contact ball bearing are firstly the adhesive wear and the second is the contact fatigue pitting. In terms of adhesive wear, the contact stress, the relative sliding speed and friction coefficient are the major influencing factors. These three can be unified as the equivalent stress of the contact. In high-speed angular contact ball bearing structure parameters, channels on inner and outer radius of curvature are closely related to the above factors. This article analyses and studies the high speed angular contact ball bearing of inner and outer circle of the channel curvature radius, and exploits the channel curvature radius selection procedures, providing reasonable reference for the design of the radius of curvature.First, this paper uses the theoretical calculation method and finite element analysis method, according to different channel curvature radius of angular contact ball bearings, calculating static load when the load and channel roller contact stress. Through contrastive analysis of the theoretical calculation and finite element calculation values to ensure the rationalitv of the three-dimensional finite element analysis model, the contact setting load and etc. For theoretical analysis, this paper first deduces the clearance and the main curvature calculation formula, then using the basic theory and the theory of Hertz contact ball bearing to calculate the angular contact ball bearing and roller contact stress of the channel. For finite element analysis, this paper uses the APDL language, setting up a comprehensive3-d model which involved the angular contact ball bearings. and calculates the rolling element and the contact stress of the channel.Secondly, this paper applies the quasi statics analysis model, according to different channel curvature radius of high speed angular contact ball bearing. analyses and calculate the equivalent stress when the dynamic load rolls body contact with the channel. First, use the static load calculated value as the initial values, and apply loop iteration method to estimate the revolution of the roller and the rotation speed:Secondly, analysis and calculate with roller channel relative sliding velocity and friction coefficient:Thirdly, calculate the equivalent stress of contact surface.Finally, based on the finite element analysis of angular contact ball bearing static load loading, this paper uses the combination of dynamic relaxation and transient dynamics analysis, develops considering clearance in high speed angular contact ball bearing channel curvature radius of the finite element analysis program. Program for different structure size of angular contact ball bearing, the meshing and loads load to establish the parameterized model, in order to improve the applicability of the analysis program and the analysis efficiency. In addition, this paper uses quasi statics analysis results compared with the results of the analysis of the program to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the analysis program.To sum up. this paper develops a high-speed angular contact ball bearing considering clearance channel radius of curvature analysis program, at the same time, it can be seen from the comparison and analysis that the analysis procedures are more accurate than the theoretical calculation in accordance with the actual situation.
