High-speed angular contact ceramic ball bearings are widely used in high-speed and ultra-high-speed spindle machines and engines for its performance advantages. It is one of the core components of the machinery industry. In high-speed conditions, bearing preload largely affects the performance of high-speed spindle and bearings, and it is very popular in recent years to explore the direction. Therefore, study on the bearing preload has important practical value. In this paper, we research the high-speed angular contact ceramic ball bearings based on quasi-dynamic qnalysis method and bearing basic theory. In our research, we have a study on the influence of preload on the contact load, contact angle and stiffness. Also, we do experiment relational. The main contents are as follows:We summarize the basic geometry and theoretical analysis of rolling bearings; find out the calculation method of bearing adaptation, principal curvature, and curvature poor argument. We take high-speed angular contact ceramic ball bearings as the object of the research; give simplified calculation method of the complete elliptic integral of the first and second kind according to Hertz contact theory; solve the transcendental equation about ellipticity and elliptic integrals.Based on the bearing basic theory, we build the statics model, the quasi-static model, the quasi-dynamic model of the angular contact ceramic ball bearings. And we discuss the assumptions, considerations force, and the scope of each model. For high-speed conditions, we identify the basic equations according to the bearing force and solve equations through Matlab programming.According to the results of the quasi-dynamic analysis model, we discussed the influence of preload on important parameters of bearing, like contact angle and the axial deformation. We make a summary about the solve method of stiffness, and study how the preload influence the bearing stiffness. We conducted a three-dimensional modeling of the high-speed spindle unit integrated performance test bed, and learn the basic structure and operating principle of it. Based on test bed, we do some experiment about high-speed angular contact ceramic ball bearings. In the study, we verified theoretical calculations law, and research how the spindle performance changes under different speed and bearing preload.
