Miniature guided rocket, which has the advantage of small caliber and volume, light weight, small radius of damage, high guidance precision, simple structure, and low cost, becomes a worldwide hot point of weapon equipment in recent years. How to effectively evaluate the miniature guided rocket’s effectiveness, which is divided into individual effectiveness, system effectiveness and combat effectiveness, plays an important part of study of the weapon system. System effectiveness specifically refers to the capability of the weapon system which completes the scheduled combat mission in certain states and conditions, and within the time limit. The system effectiveness of miniature guided rocket is not only a comprehensive evaluation of the guided rocket’s effectiveness, but also the comprehensive embodiment of the guided rocket’s combat capability.In this paper, a certain non-rotational miniature guided rocket is taken as the investigation object, to attack ground targets as the typical combat mission requirements, the guide precision, effectiveness and life cycle cost of the guided rocket’s system has been investigated mainly as follows:1. Based on establishing the guided rocket’s 6-DOF simulation model, the random error factors and its variation range which affects the guidance precision has been analyzed, the model of processing method of random error factors has been put forward.2. The Monte-Carlo target practice simulation is conducted with RSIM, the guided rocket’s system error, random error and miss distance is got, and the CEP of the guided rocket is calculated by the new definition.3. According to the request of the guided rocket’s tactics and technique index, the effectiveness analysis index system has been analyzed and established; the new grey evaluation method and amended ADC model has been put forward, based on which, the guided rocket’s capability and effectiveness evaluating value has been calculated.4. Based on establishing the guided rocket’s life cycle cost decomposition structure, and through Monte-Carlo simulation prediction, the variation law of the guided rocket’s life cycle cost and average cost with time is obtained, and the cost-effectiveness ratio optimization has been briefly analyzed.Study and simulation results show that, the model constructed in this paper is accurate, the new definition and improvement methods mentioned here are feasible and effective, which can provide theoretical guidance for the guided rocket’s system development and combat training.
