Faced with an increasingly serious problem of environmental degradation and the energy crisis, the development of new energy automotive industry will be the focus of the development of the automotive industry in the future. In the future, most power plants will be directly or indirectly driven by the motor, the traditional auto parts have been unable to meet energy efficient standards will affect the vehicle’s fuel economy and power performance. Air compressors are important parts of the car, traditional forms of air compressor does not meet the requirements of new energy vehicles. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new type of air compressor.In this paper, a study on moving magnet linear oscillation motor for linear compressor based on the model, aims to design and develop an energy efficient vehicle air compressor. Firstly, according to the design requirements, preliminary selection of structural scheme of moving magnet linear oscillation motor and linear compressor Elaborated the moving magnet linear motor principle, the principle established by the equivalent magnetic circuit of the moving magnet linear motor of equivalent magnetic circuit model. Using finite element analysis software to establish the moving magnet linear compressor finite element model.Using the finite element model of the complete structure parameters of the linear compressor optimization and dynamic analysis. According to the numerical analysis results above, the structure parameters of linear compressor important parts. In the end, with the core component of linear compressor-moving magnet linear oscillation motor prototype, the electromagnetic characteristics of the prototype test, and use a set of dynamic performance testing system, testing the dynamic characteristic of the linear compressor under no-load condition, analyzes the factors that affect the compressor performance.
