With the development of technology, people increasing focus on the batteryenergy system with large storage capacity. The system has been widely used in manyfields such as electric vehicles, high power UPS, power plant and substation DCsystems, and communications systems. Accumulator batteries are series from a certainamount of single cells. The paper used a rational and efficient approach for chargingsystem, as well as detected charge and discharge parameters of each single battery andaccumulator battery which included voltage, electric current and increasing oftemperature. As a result, we can find the damaged or significantly performancedecreased batteries in time. Furthermore, the two methods play an important role onthe reliability of extending battery life and reducing costs.The paper use12V battery tobuild a small system and verify the feasibility of the system.The paper designed the holistic structure of battery charge and discharge system,including PC node subsystem,CAN communication module, and online controllingsystem.Node subsystem used PIC16F877embedded single-chip as the core tocomplete functions, such as data collection, charging process controlment, andcommunications.Moreover,the paper design the the communication between node andPC in CAN communication system.Furthermore, the paper develop PC controllingprogram by VB to show and analyze the parameter.nodes with the order for eachnode.According to the internal characteristics of the battery, we established amathematical model for the battery charging process after building hardware system.Also, the paper studied the control process of the charging battery by two fuzzy PIDcontrol algorithm. Compared with the conventional PID control algorithm, we canconfirm the effectiveness of fuzzy PID control algorithm simulation.
