The torpedo-lay control system is a device which can control the process of the torpedo-laying from the helicopter,it is designed to setting the torpedo-lay mode and laying process.This control system is designed with embedded hardware,it use MCU to control the operation procedure,and use FPGA to control the input&output interface,the MCU and the FPGA is to be co-operated to achieve the control of the torpedo-lay process.The FPGA can control the I/O operation to reduse the computing time of the MCU.This design is to improve the real-time property of the control system.The MCU exchanges data from the FPGA by using the RAM,the data includes the system-state signal and control signal.Also,this control system can record the setting parameter and can retrace the operation in the past.The human-machine interface of the control system is combined with band switch and LED lamp.The operator use the band switch to set the parameter of the torpedo,and the LED lamp to display the current state.This control system is convenient and concise.The control system is combined with the laying-controller and the setting-controller.The laying-controller is installed in the device cabin of the helicopter,the setting-controller is installed on the console cabin of the helicopter. The laying-controller is designed to provide the function of parameter-loading,lay-control,and state-monitor. The setting-controller is designed to provide the function of mode-setting, failure-alarm, wrong-operation-alarm,and it is convenient to diagnose the problems and repair the device.The laying-controller communications with the setting-controller by a RS422interface. The setting-controller sends the mode parameter to The laying-controller,and The laying-controller operate the process of the laying.The laying-controller drives the torpedo by pulse signal to adjust the working-mode of the torpedo,and it monitor the feedback signal of the torpedo to determine if the working-mode has been setting correctly,when the working-mode has has been setting correctly, the laying-controller will cancle the pulse signal.And the operator can press the laying switch to lay the torpedo with correct mode.
