Torsion effect easily happened in asymmetric plane structures under horizontal earthquake action. Characteristics of its main performance are the whole structure turns, the lateral stiffness or weak part component’s shear and displacement increases, and even cause the whole structure of the overall collapse of brittle failure. Asymmetric plane structures’ torsion failure and damage have caused inestimable loss to the people’s life and property importance, also drawn great attention of the engineering.Irregular plane structure’s torsion effect is mainly due to the misalignment of the center of mass and the center of stiffness and the torsion component of earthquakes.In L-shaped RC frame structure design, the layout of structure will directly affect the deviation degree of the structure’s center of mass and center of stiffness. This paper studies three main problems of a L-shaped plane RC frame structure’s arrangement of the office building in7earthquake area:①the different corner column grid layouts have what effect on its torsion;②different stair arrangement have what influence on its torsion;③what kind of corner column grid and stair layout scheme can reduce the multilayer L-shaped plane RC frame structure’s torsion effect.This article elaborates the structure of plane irregular torsion problem, using PKPM structure design software to establish the typical multilayer L-planed RC frame building structure models, the6kinds of corner column grid layout scheme and8kinds of stair layout. Analyzes the different’s influence of column grid and stair layout structure to the structure’s torsion effect. Finally,put forward the suggestions in the architectural design scheme design phase which can control L-shaped RC frame structure’s torsion effect of distribution of the corner column grid and the stairs,providing references for similar engineering design.
