The development of hydropower, and the West-East electricity transmission was a major issue for the implementation of the western development strategy, was the key to the implementation of the optimal allocation of China’s electric power resources. With the implementation of the decisions of the western development strategy, China had ushered in the climax of the hydropower construction, however, the majority of western hydropower had been built in the alpine gorge area with complex geological conditions, various dams would inevitably involve the slope stability of engineering geological problems. Many of the dam failure examples told us, once the slope instability was destroyed, it would give fatal harm to the dam building and downstream region of the people’s life and safety. Over the years, the geological disasters in China are mainly based on the landslide, collapse and other disasters, among which the most serious disaster was landslide disaster. And the slope deformation and failure forms include:collapse, dumping and landslide, the landslide slope failure was the main form of failure, and it had the most devastating.Throughout history, people have been actively seeking a solution method for slope stability analysis, the basic methods in analyzing the slope stability mainly include:qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, uncertainty analysis, physical model method and and on-site monitoring method. The limit equilibrium analysis method and the finite element method which included in quantitative analysis method were the most commonly used method. Limit equilibrium analysis methods commonly included:Study of Sweden, simplified Bishop method, Janbu method. In this paper, used ANSYS finite element method combined with strength reduction method to analyze the slope stability.When analyzing the rock and soil materials, we must first choose to yield failure criterion, the yield failure criterion included:maximum shearing stress theory, Mises yield criterion, Mohr-Coulomb failure criterion, Drucker-Prager failure criterion. This paper used the Drucker-Prager failure criterion, also known as D-P criterion.Based on selection of calculation method and yield failure criterion, the paper choosed three typical slope:homogeneous slope, layered slope, including weak sandwich slope, the ANSYS software and strength reduction method had been used to analyze the slope stability of two-dimensional analysis and three-dimensional analysis, and compared the results of two-dimensional analysis and the results of three-dimensional analysis. When analyzing, accurately choosed the basis for slope failure was critical, which were used in this paper:the calculation did not converge, the mutation of number of iterations, the mutation of displacement and the penetrating of plastic zone. |
