Power line network is the world's most widely distributed network, with the benefits of can not easily be destroyed because of high physical strength. Power line as communication medium, not only avoid re-laying of communication lines, saving initial construction costs and lower maintenance costs later. In recent years, power line carrier communication is widely used in Automatic Meter Reading systems (AMRS), building control, intelligent home control, street lights and other fields.With high attenuation, high noise, low impedance and time-varying characteristics of the low-voltage power line channel, low-voltage power line network communication environment is very bad and resulting in very limited communication range and reliability is not high. People mainly from the physical layer and network layer to extend the transmission distance and enhance the reliability of communication of signal in low-voltage power line network. On the physical layer technology mainly from channel coding, signal detection, channel estimation and selection, power allocation and modulation / demodulation methods; on network layer aspect is to relay network for the low-voltage power line network. However, in fact that low-voltage power line communication technology's potential in the physical layer has been digging out and even if make use of the most advanced physical layer communications technology can not meet the actual demand. Therefore, it is of great significance to research the low-voltage power line communication network on the network layer. The main works of this paper carried out include:â‘ Paper has analyzed and summarized related power line communication network routing methods at present, and divided these routing methods into two categories: Non-overlapping clustering based routing method and ant colony based routing algorithm. Then paper summarized and described the process of each routing method.â‘¡For the problems that existing routing methods have complex routing protocol, high hardware requirements and poor reliability in low-voltage power line network, paper proposed a routing and reconstruction algorithm based on overlapping clustering for low-voltage power line network. Simulation results showed that this routing algorithm had higher reliability and stronger anti-destruction capability compared with the non-overlapping clustering routing algorithm, simulation also showed that overlap cluster based routing method can build and maintain routing tables dynamically according to the channel quality, thus guarantee the validity and reliability of communication network.â‘¢For the characteristics of time-varying and providing different types of services in low-voltage power line network, on the base of anglicizing network topology structure and network model of low-voltage power line network, paper give the optimized goal function of routing, and then proposed a routing algorithm that reflect channel states and service requirements based on fish-swarm algorithm. Paper re-defined the artificial behaviors in original fish-swarm algorithm and defined the concept of artificial fish life length and then proposed a new fish-swarm algorithm according, and then paper proposed the routing steps based on new fish-swarm algorithm. Simulation showed that new fish-swarm algorithm can build routing table dynamically according the channel sates and service requirements of low-voltage power line communication network and the routing table can be optimized constantly with the communication continue.
