With the continuous development of power industry, power system reliability and safety of electrical equipment running by people concerned. The PD on-line monitoring can be used to find out the insulation situation of power transformer and determine the location of partial discharge. Prevent to lost production and security incidents because of the ability of the insulation reducing, and improve reliability and reduce power losses. At present, monitoring of transformer partial discharge device within strong noise environment, there denoising result is not satisfactory and low sensitivity and high precision positioning drawbacks, in domestic and international. In this paper, the problems mentioned above in the denoising and positioning research as follows:Firstly, the partial discharge signal is mixed by noises, there are three main types: periodic narrowband interference and white noise and random pulse interference. This paper uses periodic narrowband interference correlation and spectral analysis to distinguish and determine the cycle, and used the chaos control to remove interference; used the method of combining about band pass and wavelet transform to inhibit white noise. The DB is able to preprocess and smothing denoise; for the random pulse, the method of pulse polarity discriminate to remove noise.Secondly, in this paper, it used the method of combining fuzzy control and adaptive genetic algorithm to avoid the defects about the accuracy of the traditional localization and position precisly the discharge location, the method indicate the deviation is small and fully meet the requirements.Finally, in LabVIEW software platform, it used the design approach of function modularization. The software program inclued the user login module, data acquisition module, data analysis module, PD positioning module, data data storage and query module, remote monitoring module, and so on. Each module corresponds to different sub-VI, and it used the software synthesis technology to combine with every sub-VI. That achieved PD on-line monitoring and discharge location.This paper also introduces mechanism of partial discharge signals of transformer and establishes the simulation model of the discharge. This system about on-line partial discharge monitoring and positioning for platform with MATLAB and LabVIEW software development achieves some functions that includes collect automaticly partial discharge of power transformer, deniosing, conservation and management. It is running in long-term and has high stability, high cost performance, operation easily and so on.
