The Multi-Point forming craft is one kind of flexible processing technology, by a series of arrangement fundamental element composition"the flexible multi-point mold", has realized a machine multi-purpose tentative plan. Products with high precision can be obtained by using MPF craft, which not only realizes cold-forming, but also improves the level of the production automation, thus resolves problems with multi-type and small serial process. Therefore, applying this technology to automobile covering panel production will speed up the renewal of automobile products.This paper taking engine hood as an example, firstly, analysis the basic principle and the characteristics of Multi-point forming and the factors that affecting generated quality of specimen in the Multi-point forming experiment. Thereby selects the rational forming process and forming machine to test. Secondly, combining the reverse engineering and the Multi-point forming technology, reverse modeled the hood, including data acquisition, data processing, surface reconstruction and analysis. Then according to the hood model, applying Visual C++ 6.0 to parametric modeling based on the finite element analysis software ANSYS. At end, with the special software of Multi-point forming, analyses the feasibility of the Multi-point forming test. Preceding the test, after the basic body of Multi-point forming was adjusted.This article provides certain theoretical and experimental basis for automobile covering in the Multi-point forming, so that the Multi-point forming will be better used to the process of automobile cover parts forming. |
