Design Knowledge Modeling And Applied Research Of Auto Body Based On Ontology

Knowledge is gradually replacing monetary capital, labor and raw materials and other tangible resources, become the most key production elements of economic growth, and scarce resources of huge economic value. Knowledge, especially some enterprise exclusively accumulates, has the characteristics of tacit and professional, it is hard for other enterprises to obtain and imitate by market transactions; at the same time it is also difficult to be expressed, only in use and practice, the knowledge may spread and be shared, so the cost of imitation of the recessive knowledge is very high, imitation becomes impossible. Knowledge management system must support the knowledge accumulation, storage, communication, sharing, and be continuously evolved and overall support innovation activities of knowledge worker.Body design is knowledge-intensive work, which deal with various representation of body design knowledge. According to the statistics, designer needs more than 80% of the time to complete the collection of design knowledge. How to share and reuse knowledge to improve the design quality, shorten the design cycle, avoid waste of design resources, realize rapid design of products has extremely vital significance. Knowledge management tool has become more and more necessary within body design field, this management system will have the following basic functions: knowledge hierarchic structure segments, content oriented, service oriented, support refinement of distributed storage and management, knowledge management functions can evolve. The ontology-based conceptual model knowledge management, with terminology standardization, can effectively promote the knowledge sharing, and then realizes design knowledge lean management.This paper analyzes body design knowledge, takes example by knowledge modeling methodology, explore knowledge modeling methodology which is suitable for body design knowledge. With the guidance of methodology, try to construct body design knowledge ontology. Based on ontology, using the B/S structure model of information system and the structure of the knowledge base form, construct an ontology-based body knowledge management platform, and then verify the feasibility, with examples. The body design knowledge management platform support evolution of functions, users can customize knowledge management tools personally.
