Nowadays, increasingly the requirement of oil resources makes the deep ocean become focus of the oil exploration and extraction industry. As deep ocean oil platform with high performance of movement rule, spar platform emerges as the times require. However, the construction, design and installation of spar platform are still in the initial stage in our country. So, this paper focuses on the process of the load-out of a Truss Spar and the arrangement of the Spar on a semi-submerged ship.Based on the plenty of materials of the load-out methods of spar platform which are available at home and abroad, and take a spar platform for an example, the project of load-out is analyzed. And, the primary contents of the paper are about the characters of principal dimensions, weight distribution, longitudinal distribution of structure stiffness of the spar platform. In addition, the influence of the asymmetry longitudinal arrangement of spar platform on sliding load-out is also paid attention. By comparing the different results of various projects of load-out and according to quantitative analysis, the suitable overall project is presented. Furthermore, based on the quantitative analysis of values of variables which have influence on the sliding load-out, this paper proposed a numerical model that suit the optimum design of load-out and ballast for spar platform. The model emphasizes on the suboptimum of the steps and optimum of the entire process, that is, the duration of the process of sliding load-out should be shortest. And the results of the study can be expanded and used to the similar optimum problemsThe technology researches on the sliding load-out of spar platform included in this paper are the initial exploration of the key techniques of load-out of the deep ocean platforms which are similar to spar platforms. And it helps to design the technology project of sliding load-out from now on.
