| Multi-spindle is a kind of special accessory used on common drilling machine. It is widely used for drilling and tapping porous parts in machinery industry. The machine with multi-spindle can finish the processing of porous parts. The processing efficiency has been improved greatly. Because of strong processing and inexpensive, it became more popular in enterprises. The requirements to have the personalized products became more and more urgently. The enterprise that can design the product which is the one clients want in time will be competitive in the market. But the traditional way used in designing the multi-spindle can't be response client's requirements, because of the out of day method and tools, poor cooperativity, bad knowledge reusability and etc.This paper made a development on the multi-spindle design system based on fast response from the point that response clients'requirement quickly, and made a study on the technology and methods used in this design system. This system can help designers to finish the design quickly, efficiently, and relaxedly. This system consists of four modules. The modules are quick calculation and analysis, quick modeling, quick finite element analysis, and data consulting. This paper made research from these points like bellow:1. This paper made a feasibility analysis on the system implementation strategy and made a research about the system framework. The system makes a seamless integration between advance design software and efficient analysis software. The virtual design system helps designers to make the quick response.2. Realize the quick calculation. The quick calculation consists of quick parametric calculation and quick layout calculation. Quick calculation can analyze and calculate auto_matically based on the module program. And layout calculation can help designers to layout the multi-spindle gear transmission system quickly.3. Multi-spindle Top-down parametric modeling based on components. This method of parametric modeling uses layout sketch to design products. It can help designers to design personalized product. 4. Parametric finite element analysis method based on sharing model. This paper posed the concept of sharing model, and made a secondary development of COSMOSWORKS, it can help designers to realize multi-spindle parametric modeling and parametric finite element analysis in the seamless integration environment composed by SolidWorks and COSMOSWORKS. |
