This research is based on the "Venice Tour" bus body frame, using ANSYS software to analyze and study the body frame, and optimize the bus frame, so that the parameters of the body is as reasonable as possible, maximize the reduction in weight and size while keeping the body shape reasonable. The main contents of this paper and results are as follows:(1) Base on the previous research results, establish the three-dimensional mathematical entity model of the bus body frame for follow-up works;(2) Establish finite element model of the bus body frame, and summarize the modeling approach;(3) Analyze stress and deformation of the body frame in different conditions. The results provide reference for decreasing the weight of the bus;(4) According to the dynamic performance requirements of the passenger car, perform the modal analysis on the body;(5) Base on the result of static and dynamic analysis, optimize the car frame's design, suggest a proposal to structurally improve the car's body, such that the body meets stiffness, strength, and other performance requirements while being the lightest possible.
