With the development of science and technology, people is increasingly intensification requirements for many technology of product, especially in some field of advanced high-end study. We put forward higher request and hope it increasingly miniaturization, precision, in order to better meet the needs of their people ,such as in the medical equipment, home appliances, vehicles financial aspects. And daily in most products which are inseparable from motor drive, if we want to make these techniques which can better satisfy the requirement of people, convenient of motor driver will bring quickly development and improvement in these areas. Brushless dc motor is gradually improve arises accompaning by power electronics development and requirements for motor volume and performance. Brushless dc motor use electronic commutation to replace the mechanical commutation of the dc motor , so that it retain the fine characteristic of dc motor and overcome the drawbacks of dc motor.The paper made in-depth research from control theory, mathematics model and other aspects, based on the development of brushless dc motor and introduction of situation at home and abroad. First, The paper test and verify theory of dc motor control system based on MATLAB simulation software and design of motor control system using powerful simulation function of SIMULINK. Completed system simulation of brushless dc motor control.Through two kinds of simulation model,the Paper analyzed in theoretically combining with the construction of the brushless dc motor of the working principle and mathematical model. Secondly ,the control of popular sensorless brushless dc motor are analyzed in theory. In the course of analysis of this control strategy,the starting position, the position detection were analyzed and contrasted the advantages and disadvantages. Put forward three times harmonic position detection method at full speed and third harmonic generation are tested by simulation module.Finally, brushless dc motor control system was devised based on the simulation and the analysis of theory and made type selection circuit design of the hardware.The main control chipof control system adopted LPC1766 of NXP company, whose core is the latest Contex - M3 of ARM. And the control system realized data transmission through Modbus bus protocol. In the U-Vision4 development environments,the software was programed, and paper gived software realization process.
