The digital transformation issue for the hydraulic control system of a certain type of turbo-shaft engine is studied in this thesis, based on analysis of the working mechanism of the helicopter power system. The control law is designed for developing the digital control program of the turbo-shaft engine. The failure mode of the digital control system and its countermeasures is discussed. The requirements and platform constructions of the simulation are studied. Firstly, the work principle of the turbo-shaft engine and rotor system is analyzed, to establish the component level all-variable model and the network model. In order to meet the real-time requirements of simulation, the all-variable model is simplified, to get the incremental model. Secondly, the control objectives and laws are analyzed, and the limits of the operate parameters are summarized as well. Then the digital control program, the control logic and the control law are established, and the control performance is validated by the result of the digital simulation. Afterwards, the main failure modes and the countermeasures are given based on the initial configuration of the full authority digital control (FADEC) system of the type of turbo-shaft engine. At last, the simulation needs during the process of the development for the digital control system are analyzed. A specific description of the semi-physical simulation with the hydraulic fuel regulator in loop and the electronic simulation with the electronic control unit in loop is given, including the principle of the simulation and the construction of the simulation platform.
