| In the field of hydraulic and hydropower engineering, establish 3-D model of valley terrain to achieve digital, visual design and construction is more and more important. One of the key issues is establish a digital elevation model of valley terrain based on scattered data points. In recent years, hydraulic and hydropower engineering presents a flourish trend. With the continuous increase size of project, the efficiency and safety of the design has a higher demand. Because 3-D model is more direct and effective than the two-dimensional topographic map, therefore, use computer technology do the modeling and analysis of hydraulic engineering is the development trend of construction, establish digital elevation model of valley terrain in hydraulic engineering is important for engineering application. With the increasing development of computer technology, digital elevation model for description and simulation of topography geographic information is more widely applied. In recent years, research on digital elevation model is always a hot issue.Establish digital elevation model of valley terrain and to achieve its expression of multi-scale is the objective of this research. The main method is use finite element method and extended finite element method to solve the related problems about model based on scattered data points. As grid is simple and effective, it is considered the most basic and most important type of model. Therefore this article mainly uses grid modeling. Finally based on the grid, combining the advantages of triangulated irregular network, establish local tin to improve the accuracy of the model.The main work of this article: on the basis of analysis graphics file formats, understand DXF file structure and storage methods, programe quickly extract the specific data we need. Use finite element method to solve the problem of difficulty of determining neighborhood and uneven distribution of discrete points. For discontinuous topography such as cliffs, faults etc, since the introduction of non-continuous problem, using extended finite element method to make the result more reasonable and accurate interpolation. Use wavelet transform often used in image signal processing method, compress data to facilitate storage and implementation model of multi-scale representation. Based on grid, combing grid and tin, play their respective advantages to make the model more accurate. Finally, based on scattered data points, realize the digital elevation model and multi-scale representation of valley terrain in hydraulic engineering, has obvious advantages. |
