As the gathering place of population,production and economic activities,increased building density,and hardened pavement,which greatly affect the natural water cycle process.It is necessary to study the problem of urban storms and floods.When conducting urban hydrological simulations,the current hydrological models mostly use conceptual models such as SWMM,which rely heavily on watershed hydrological information,especially municipal pipeline information.The model parameters are determined by experience,and need to be calculated repeatedly to determine the parameters.The subjective nature of urban watershed information construction is still relatively lagging behind.Because of the lack of relevant information,the establishment of the model is very difficult.In order to solve the difficulties caused by many uncertainties in the simulation of rainstorm and flood in hydrology city,in this paper,the concept of characteristic elevation is put forward,and based on GIS technology,basic geographic data such as DEM,high-resolution satellite image and map data are used to analyze the unique hydrological phenomenon of a city.This paper puts forward a new method to study urban hydrological problems.The main research results of the paper are as follows:(1)Runoff simulation.Three grids connected by geographical coordinates are established to store rainfall,regional drainage capacity and terrain impact data.The method of geographical grid is used to organize the data and construct a rainwater confluence calculation unit to simulate the occurrence of runoff;(2)Drainage simulation.In this paper,through the hydrological method,combined with the situation that the main drainage unit of urban surface hardening is a sewer,the concept of characteristic elevation is proposed to simulate the urban drainage situation;(3)In this paper,Hankou District,Wuhan,Hubei Province was used as a research area,and a grid computing unit was established in its 100.33 square kilometers urban area to realize the simulation of urban inundation near the peak of heavy rain and rainfall outside the design recurrence period.The announcement serves as a verification,combined with the study of Wuhan's water system changes to verify the effectiveness of the model.The geographic grid and spatial analysis technology are introduced into the study of urban rainstorm and flood,which realizes the interdisciplinary intersection between spatial information technology and urban watershed hydrological simulation,completes more accurate rainstorm and runoff simulation in the absence of hydrological data,provides a new idea for the improvement of urban rainstorm and flood inundation simulation model,and solves the emergency response of urban flood and sponge city construction planning provides a new method.
