The design of automatic cementing device for cap and pin insulator consists of mechanical system and pneumatic driving control. In accordance with user's requirement the aggregate is supposed to comprise single working position, horizontal moving pneumatic finger and pneumatic vibrator. The essential technical solution shall realize vibration of higher fiequency and minor amplitude, andcertain coaxality between cap, porcelain body and pin at cementing. The design process using the eccentric motor vibration realized vibration amplitude of the bed and high frequency, little use three claws positioning and cylinder positioning of the way with iron cap porcelain pieces of the coaxial tolerance requirement. For electro- mechanical control system,programming logic controller FX1S of Mitsubishi is utilized. A dual spring vibrating device is used for increasing vibrating effect and buffer action. It is estimation by calculation that the one shift capacity is more than 450 units.
