With the developing of the economy and the progress of the societies and the living civilization degree of mankind, the people's activity turns to go into from the outdoors. The time that people spend in indoors become more and more, the quality of indoor air has become to affect the important factor of the healthy of people, the pollution of the indoor air have already caused the people's extensive concern. Therefore, how to purify the indoor air pollution by air purifying technique is also a research heat of indoor pollution problem both at home and abroad. Now the latest development technique is TiO2 photo catalyst technique and Activated carbon fiber technique.There are so many indoor air purifying techniques and materials. So some questions come out in evaluating the cleaning performance. For one thing, some evaluating indicator can only be used for driving-type cleaning products. In other words, they are not appropriate to evaluate the cleaning performance of passive-form cleaning products. For another, some index is not so unscientific and need to be improved. In this paper, we take TiO2 cleaning unit and ACF unit as investigated subjects and try to evaluate the cleaning performance of them. For more, we try to grope for some new evaluating indicator for passive-form products.The purpose of this disquisition is to remove the formaldehyde in indoor air by TiO2 photo-catalytic oxidation technology. The contents of research include the TiO2 photocatalytic oxidation and Activated carbon fiber material performance test, appraising the efficiency of them and the analysis of the influence of different factors on the efficiency of TiO2 photocatalytic oxidation and Activated carbon fiber which is carried out respectively at active and passive conditions.At last, we explore some new evaluating indicators, such as ms and mt. The value of concentration is very important in testing and forming a new indicator. So the 2 indicators are all be formed with concentration difference.
