In practice there is the problem of unreliability in Power Line Communication (PLC) over low-voltage distribution network. The main reasons of limiting the application of PLC are the reliability and the connectivity of the network. For this issue, a novel routing model of PLC over low-voltage is presented with being inspired by the spider web and the predatory behavior,Firstly, this paper describes the background and significance of the topic. The development of PLC over low-voltage distribution network is discussed.The topology of low-voltage distribution network and the topology of the PLC over low-voltage distribution network are discussed. The tree and star network can better represent the existing topology. The characteristics of interference and the background noise are analyzed, they provide basis for routing modeling. The channel characteristics of PLC are analyzed, a low-voltage power line channel model is established. The international standards of EMC over low-voltage PLC are presented, this provide the standard for our work.Secondly, structure of natural web, processure of making a net and prey is analyzed.The similarity of the cob web and the communication network is compared. The needs of the network communication and spider,the structure of spider web and the topology of the communication,the central area of the spider web and the communication center, the radius and the routing of the communication,the capture thread and the traffic,the reconstruction of the spider web and the reconstruction of communication network are analyzed respectively.The single,double logical model is established, and their routing models are analyzed respectively, these provide theory basis for subsequent chapers. Thirdly, channel model, tree, star network model and the single/double artificially cobweb model of PLC is established in the OPNET simulation platform.The PLC strategies of routing is established initially. A series of simulation are done, these provide the basis for the building of the more complex PLC network model.At last, on the basis of single,double artificially cobweb, artificially cobweb PLC model of four layers hexagon is established.It approachs actual situation of communication network more.The delay and throughput of the model is analyzed.The result of the simulation proves that the artificially cobweb model is stability and appropriate for the area of power line communication.
