Ultrasonic motor is a novel motor with special materials and completely new driving principle. It has many superior performances compare to the traditional electromagnetic motor, such as insensitive to magnetic fields, high torque at a low speed, fast response, no noise, high holding torque when power is off and so on. Therefore it more and more widely used in the areas of non-continuous movement and precision control. As the application areas continue to develop, the use of small size, light weight motor are required by some occasions. Consequently, miniaturization become an important content as driving and control of USM system research.According to the capacitive characteristics of USM, matching with series-inductance, using square-wave driving signal to turn on or turn off the MOSFET, the LC resonant circuit is built up. To this non-transformer driving circuit, USM attaches itself to LC resonant, not as a signal receiver but a circuit element. Due to the simple principle and compact in size and fewer components, also makes signal generation and power amplifying reality, this system is good for the miniaturization of USM.This paper summarized the research achievements of modeling and simulation, proposed a new method which fixing all the circuit parameters only changing frequency, duty ratio and resonant cycle number of the driving PWM signal, finally changed the equivalent effect of sine wave, and achieved the function of driving and control. Verified this measure through experiment based on studying USR30 by using software simulation and building experimental circuit and constructing driving control system based on DSP, then provided a reliable foundation for more effectively driving and control USM.
