The full-swing crane with the advantages of flexibility, convenience and widely adaptability has been widely used in ships ports and offshore platforms. With the rapid development of the international economy and fundamental constructions, the full-swing crane has become more and more popular and useful. Meanwile the demand for it is increasing dramatically. All of these reasons drew the technique performance of the full-swing crane into a new stage. This paper takes the long truss-arm frame as a research object .It makes finite element analysis, static and dynamic response analysis and key nodes fatigue analysis on typical working conditions by ALGOR for a computer-aided finite element analysis software. This paper also provides the results of rigity analyse, strength analyse and dynamic properties analyse. These results are the necessary reference for optimizing design. The detailed contents are:Firstly, according to four different loading conditions and constraint boundary conditions, the paper makes the detailed structure analysis of the long truss-arm frame of the full-swing crane with the method of finite element theory caculation by extarcting the static deformation image, stress distribution image and transient stress curves.Secondly, the paper works out fatigue caculation for the connection between lord chord and abdomen stem which are on the key node of the long truss-arm frame。It does fatigue analysis by extracting node breaking images.Thirdly, in order to increase the operating reliablity, the paper analyses the inherent frequency and vibrating mode by extracting the top 10 vibration modes. It also analyses vibrating mode which will influence the structure dramatically and gives the statement.
