Research On The Landscape Design Of Underground Space Entrance

As city and nature co-exist, people become more needy for an eco-living environment. The appearance of underground space and its entrances of Underground Square have a great influence on urban landscape, on one hand it exists as a way to connect ground and underground space, on the other hand it provides people places to live as new urban space .Researches on the landscape design of entrances of Underground Square could satisfy people's needs of transportation, communication and environment and make it into an important urban nodes in physical space positively.This thesis focuses on Underground Square entrance and begins with functional analysis of spatial characteristics of the entrance area, Based on the preliminary analysis of the historical background and development status of the Underground Square. Design principles and detailed design method of the Underground Square come from the constitute of the Underground Square and landscape aesthetics perspective and the influence.This thesis is divided into five chapters:The first chapter: elaborates mainly the background, significance, methods and relevant theoretical researches of the topic.The second chapter, briefly introduces the development and related concepts of Underground Square entrance, and analyses some important factors of the landscape of the Underground Square entrance.The third chapter researches the features of the landscape of the Underground Square through analysing functions and places of it.The forth chapter finds out the suitable method to design landscape of Underground Square entrance by researching the elements of the Underground Square landscape .The fifth chapter elaborates that weather it is feasible to design landscape of Underground Square entrance from the perspective of technical support.
