| State Road 314 KuChe-AKesu Highway subgrade is filled with earth-rock mixtures in Xinjiang, Works amount to twenty million cubic meters, Referring to degree of compactness as earth-rock mixtures subgrade compaction quality control target, Degree of compaction across the board need to detect a total of 15 million times, it takes a lot of manpower and resources, and seriously affect the speed and duration of Subgrade. Based on the indoor and field tests,this paper try to use PFWD to rapidly determine the compaction quality of earth-rock mixtures subgrade.The earth-rock mixtures is clearly different from fine-grained soil because of the heterogeneous gradation and water content. Therefore, there would be problems about determination of standard dry density, application of test methods and rationality of evaluation targets.For the super-size earth-rock mixture,using an extension of similar size distribution of medium,compaction test method measured by its maximum dry density. Depending on the vibration compaction results of the different stone content, it is obtained the regression formula of earth-rock mixtures maximum dry density and stone content. Scene detection based on different stone content, stone content will be brought into the equation to determine the corresponding maximum dry density, compaction testing to provide a suitable standard of maximum dry density.To verify the feasibility of subgrade compaction by PFWD test, the paper analyzes the subgrade depth impacted by PFWD with the finite element method,focuses to analyzes its practicability. Article uses sand replacement method, PFWD, and dynamic cone penetration test, studies the different compaction characteristics of earth-rock mixtures, and analyzes the correlation.In considering the coarse particles of different size and content of the largest factors, determine the relationship between the degree of compaction and Evd.For the Kuche-Akesu highway embankment construction practice, roadbed construction quality was tested by PFWD. Through the technical and economic analysis,it verifies the feasibility of compaction quality tested by PFWD.Finally, the paper proposes the compaction quality control standards and quality control indicators of stone embankment by PFWD. |
