Poor contact between the surface and the base of the cement concrete pavement was one of the main reasons for the damage of the pavement. It was effectively to improve the layers contacts condition by laying asphalt mixture function layer between the surface and the base of concrete pavement. However, it was insufficient for the research of such composite pavement. In fact, the pavement was subjectd to dynamic vehicle load. This paper studied the dynamic response of concrete pavement with function layer under moving vehicle load.Analysing the limitation for the theory of plates on the elastic foundation, an calculation of the case in the Specifications of Cement Concrete Pavement Design for Highway was carried out with ANSYS which is based on finite element method (FEM). The result proved that it was feasible to calculate response of pavement with ANSYS. Based on FEM fundamental equation and coefficient of damping for dynamic analysis, type of dynamic vehicle load in calculation was assumed. The FEM model was established based on concrete pavement with function layer including basic assumption, parameters of material, dimension, boundary condition, simplification of vehicle wheelmark, critical position of vehicle load, calculate position and calculate indices etc. Considering the semi-rigid base and the rigid base respectively, the impact of dynamic response to the various parameters of the concrete pavement was obtained. Finally, sensitivity analysis based on the influence factor of dynamic response was carried out with the grey incidence analysis. Formulas of dynamic response were obtained by the regression analysis. The findings of this paper can be used to provide theory references for structural design and construction of concrete pavement with function layer.
