Integral abutment bridges without expansion joints in bridges, the bridge can be improved driving comfort, reduce maintenance and repair costs, avoid the common problem of bridge expansion joints leaking and prolong the life of the bridge. Thus, the bridge type and other countries in Europe and America are widely used, but is rarely applied in our country, almost no area in the cold. Integral abutment bridge slab, in addition withstand vertical loads, but also came to pass by the overall deformation of bridge, and at the movement joint to be released. Thus, how scientific and rational design of integral bridge slab and deformation joints and other ancillary components, is the integral abutment bridge design important.In this paper, Industrial Park, Bridge of rich engineering background to elastic foundation theory, theory of finite method of integral abutment bridges mechanical properties of veneer, and take the plate, deformation joints, tie plates abutment connection with the construction, after the filling station and take the plate and filling the interface between the measures for dealing with the design; design of slab stress, deformation and longitudinal deformation of the vertical observation programs for the vertical load test, and vertical deformation due to temperature for six months observation; on the measured data were compared with the calculated value analysis, the real bridge approach slab test results and by elastic foundation beam method in good agreement with the theoretical value of the conclusions. Horizontal displacement of the slab through the six-month observation, test data and to consider the role of soil behind Taiwan's overall level of the bridge model deflection calculated in good agreement. Finally, the results of research and observation in the real bridge, bridge abutment on the overall table structure after the slab design of such detail some suggestions.Operating more than a year, smooth deck, approach slab work well, without any cracks, bump sign that paper on the integral abutment bridge units and other details after the slab structure design is reasonable, theoretical analysis is correct, the results of the analysis is credible. Research results on the integral abutment bridge of the application and provide references for further study.
