This thesis focuses on analyzing the integration of urban rail transit stations and urban spatial morphology, taking Nanjing as case, then thesis tries to bring out possible improvement suggestions and integration modes.First of all, the thesis defines two types of urban spatial morphology related to urban tail transits, and analyzes all spatial morphology components; further on, through investigating typical Nanjing metro stations, thesis summarizes existing integration problems; in the end, brings forward possible improvement suggestions and integration modesThe purpose is to provide theoretical instructions to urban rail transit stations design and spatial integration practice.Thesis is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is introduction, describes the origin, background and research objects and existing related research, then confirmed the definition of related concepts and determined the research methods and process. The second chapter analyzes the relationship between urban rail transit networks and urban spatial structure through taking Nanjing as typical case. Further on,The third chapter analyzes two kinds of urban spatial morphology related to urban rail transit stationsThe forth chapter classifies the types of rail transit stations, chooses Nanjing stations as typical cases, making more detailed spatial integration analysis. The fifth chapter puts forward proposals and improvement in three levels including laws, land use and four integration modes. The sixth chapter summarizes the analysis stated in the above chapters and defects of the thesis.
