With the recovery of the world economy, domestic ports economy had experienced a good growth and had surpassed Singapore port as the world's first after achieving 29,090,000 Twenty-foot Equivalent Units throughput. Container port plays an important role as a node of the global shipping network to confront with trade globalization. Many ports are trying to promote their channel and berths' construction to be deeper and larger, so that they can eliminate the port's bottleneck of production and make a high-level shipping service system and collection/ distribution system. However many container ports are still in operation of low efficiency and full loaded, different sectors of terminal system can not link with each other very well, serious traffic jams happened in the port. Therefore how to maximize terminal resources utilization such as berths, cranes and trailers, increase convergence efficiency of different operations, shortest the time of ship in port and equipment's operation time in terminal, in order to meet the growing port demand and improve their competition advantages become many scholars' research subject. The container terminal's production operation system mainly includes the calling berths of arrived ships, crane allocation, trailer scheduling and convergence of such operations. Based on above facts, in a realistic point of view, this paper selects the main factors that affect terminal production efficiency, specially analyzed the process of ships from arriving to finishing loading and unloading production, make continuous berth and mixed loading/unloading operation as the primary consideration, an integer model was developed which consider the time of ships in port and time of trailers' operation in yards simultaneously, to realize berth-crane-trailer coordinate scheduling. Meanwhile make use of relevant software to get the optimal solutions including the best calling location and the optimal number of cranes for arrived ships, and trailer's optimal route based on the shortest travel time. Numerical test shows that this model can increase the overall terminal system efficiency at a greater extent, improve terminal equipment's utilization and reduce idleness effectively compared with previous separate scheduling method and indeed had practical significance.
