The Research Of Residential Block In The Small Town

With the rapid development of urbanization and urban expanding, small towns are facing various problems, such as increase of land utilization, development of new industry, demolition of existing housing. However, nowadays, the housing construction of small towns is always imitating the model of big cities without consideration of their differences or is in a disordered situation with no purpose. The author finds out some potential social problems resulted from separate context created by design, the waste of resources. The living atmosphere of "closed, safe, quiet" which is a copy of residential district model of big cities cannot adapt to original residences of small towns that have no income and formed a closed neighborhood. Their living mode is changing greatly. To solve the problems above, the author learns from the block residential pattern which dominates foreign residential planning mode and tries to tap the content of Chinese residential space. From the perspective of residential urban design, mode of distribution and assembling, facade of a single residence, this passage tries to think out new lifestyle and urban form of housing construction of small towns. This paper emphasizes thoughts on the relationship between time and different forms of small towns. It tries to explore a basic mode of residential blocks in small towns in order to improve people's life, restore its original culture and inspires the vitality of the residential blocks.As the nature of residential block, it is not only a network structure, a combination of residential volume, but also a kind of attitude that open, harmony of the city, it can't be easily copy or divided high, middle, and low density to be suitable for the marketing sale, it is the truly carrier for our human's desire of love and friendship in the reality. But the reason of the stubborn obstacles is our escaping it. open the city, open the heart to enjoy the true life, we believe that all of the tribulation is the most valuable asset of the social development process.
