The important position of container crane in the port industry had decided the fact that the container crane must be very efficiency.The design of the preventing wave device is a very important way to improve the efficiency of the crane.In this paper,the author researches the preventing wave device in the Arm bridge crane and designs the damping system in the container with the mothods of energy consumption.Through such methods,the author obtained the main design scheme of the damping preventing wave system.In this paper,the author have analysed the origin of the preventing wave system,established the mechanics model of this system and given the detailed calculation and analysis.At the same time,the author have builded virtual prototype of the preventing wave system and got the right analysis results.Through comparing these methods,the writer have got some useful result that could be using in designing and manufacturing the preventing wave system.This thesis had finished these kinds of works as follow:1. Analysing the characteristics of the luffing mechanism of the Arm bridge crane,researching the movement rules of the car,getting the solution of the origin of the preventing wave system.2. Had found the effective way to add the damping in the system and got a good scheme of the preventing wave system.3. Establishing the mechanics model and the math model of this system with the lagrange theory,getting the numerical solution with the VC++,drawing the cure with the Matlab.4. Establishing the virtual prototype model with the 3d modeling software and Adams,finish the dynamics calculation.
