The Study On The Shift Quality Evaluation And Synchronization Time Test Of Manual Transmission

In the present,Manual transmission still holds the biggest market share, because its mature technology, low cost and good driving control feeling, manual transmission will still be used in large amounts for a long time in the future. But now the research of shift quality evaluation for manual transmission remains weak in domestic. Existing evaluation system is based on the score of shift by drivers, the subjectivity is too strong, break away from the internal performance data of transmission, this method can not be scientific and objective.Based on the domestic and international industry standard and related research material, This paper raise a method and system of quality evaluation,which combined the objective data and subjective evaluation.First of all, based on detailed analysis of research targets,carefully chosen the various sensors, driving equipment and hardware equipment etc. scientifically establish the test parameters, finally develop a shift performance test bench. The bench is fully automatic controlled, which can test the shift performance,cable performance,clutch performance. The test targets for shift performance are shift force, shift angle, input/output shaft speed parameters. These data for shift quality evaluation provides a precise objective basis.based on the analysis of the experimental data, this paper puts forward four shift quality evaluation indexes, they are RMR, impulse coefficient a shift force extremum Fmax and slope difference coefficientβ.And use the method of RMA to establish the weight of each index and shift quality level, finally establish the shift quality evaluation system.Input the experimental data,it can calculate the gear shift quality level of the transmission.Through a simpley change,the shift performance test bench can test the synchronizer performance.The bench can test the synchronous force,shift time,input/output shaft speed and shift angle in the synchronized processes, change gear, etc.We can get the synchronization time through the analysis of test data.
