| In recent decades, cable-stayed bridge is developing rapidly. The main force component of cable-stayed bridges are main beam, main tower, and cable-stayed that can be viewed as externally prestressed. Cable-stayed bridge is the structure with high time indeterminate, and with large structure flexibility. Under a variety of loads, the main beam and cable-stayed changes in complexity of the force, and influenced by the nonlinear structure. The main cable-stayed bridge tower, and many other concrete girder bridge structure in force under the complex, often cracking, insufficient strength and so on, and then seriously affect the durability of these components.Cable-stayed bridge with detailed testing on a regular basis, such as, detecting the use of status and work performance of components and ancillary facilities, detection the problem timely, so that can implement appropriate repair, that can unsure the carrying capacity of cable-stayed bridge, reduce the bridge's long-term maintenance.This paper from the point of view of engineering practice, based on summary the cable-stayed load tests, described the cable-stayed load tests in detail. What this paper have done are following:(1)Describes the characteristics of cable-stayed bridge, and point out the problems it has be.(2) On-site detection of cable-stayed bridge, considering the strength and carbonation of concrete, bridges, cable-stayed structure, linear and other factors on the bearing capacity. Made specific detection methods for the disease, and the bridge static and dynamic tests of the theory and practical applications are discussed.(3) Checking the cable-stayed bridge that should be tested to obtain accurate geometry parameters of the bridge and the actual size of cable tension (that under dead load), to understand the structure of stress and deformation state, as a practical bridge inspection counted basis. (4)Detailed assessment of the cable-stayed bridge, carrying capacity assessment of the structure and use of the actual conditions of evaluation, provide the technical basis for the repair and reinforcement.(5)By taking some cable-stayed bridge as an example, a comprehensive inspection and damage analysis are conducted. The bridge condition ration is given based on the field inspection and load tests. These can be taken as valuable suggestions for similar types of bridge. |
