Highway passenger station is an important part of the highway transportation system and integrated system. The study on the general layout and planning of regional highway passenger station is conducive to reasonably allocate and make full use of regional transportation infrastructure resources and avoid building redundant. On the basis of "The research of Highway passenger station layout and planning in Baoding", this thesis researches comprehensively as follows.(1)The conception and connotation of regional highway passenger station layout and planning.The part gives the concept and characteristics of highway passenger station layout and planning, the relation between regional highway passenger station and regional highway passenger transport hub.(2)The research on regional highway passenger station layout and planning.This part gives an exact meaning of regional highway passenger station. The general layout and planning of Regional highway passenger station is divided into two parts:macro layout and planning and micro layout and planning, according to the relation of regional highway passenger station and regional highway passenger transport hub.(3) The research of the hierarchy system of regional highway passenger station macro layout and planning. In tenns of hierarchical division of regional highway passenger station, this part not only gives an improved set covering model after analyzing the existing level division way of hub (Baoding is taken as an example to show the level of the regional highway passenger station in the city), but also analyze the relation between different levels and the regional highway passenger station.(4) The research of the hierarchy system of regional highway passenger station micro layout and planning. This paper determines quantity and scale demand by qualitative and quantitative method, according to macro layout conclusion. This part gives an improved maximum model for highway passenger station layout in terns of site selection. The central area of Baoding is taken as an example to build corresponding model to optimize the site of highway passenger transport hub, and gives some suggestions on regional highway passenger station layout and planning.
