At present, the problem of slope stability has become one of the main factor to constraint and obstacle the highway development. Hunan Province locates in the transition zone from the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau to the southern hills and from Nan-Ling mountain to the Jiang-Han plain. The topography changes sharp, the terrains are hilly and mountain. At the same time, Hunan province across Yangtze tectonic unit and South China tectonic unit. There are deposition constructions of different times, geological structure is complicated, Gagma activity is frequent and intense. The problem of slope stability has become one of the main technical difficulties of Highway construction in Hunan Province. In order to properly guide the design and construction, reduce highway slope engineering damage and Instability risks, it's necessary to Strengthen and improve the study of stability of highway slope.As there are a lot of uncertainty and randomness to influence slope stability, Through the basis of comprehensive understanding and survey about Highway slope of Hunan province, analyzing the influential factors of highway slope stability and Selecting the 17 influence factors on slope stability. Using fuzzy synthesis appraisal approach to zoning evaluation of Highway slope of Hunan province. The results of zoning assessment show that there are the 7 region,11 districts. The slope of the northwestern area high-middle mountainous region (â… region) is medium security to high-risk state. There is not the slope stability problem in the north area plain region (â…¡region). The slope of the northeastern area high-middle mountainous region (â…¢region) is medium security to high-risk state. The slope of the western area middle mountainous,Re-hills region (â…£region) is medium security to high-risk state. The slope of the central area hills region (â…¤region) is security to high-risk state. The slope of the eastern area mountainous,hills region (â…¥region) is medium security to high-risk state, and there is the slope instability problem of expansive soil. The slope of the southern area mountainous,hills region (â…¦region) is medium security to high-risk state, and there is the slope instability problem of expansive soil. According to the actual situation of slope stability in different regions, taking corresponding measures has some value.
