Explore The Optimization Of City Square Space Design

Since the reform and opening in China , along with the business booming, the acceleration of urbanization has also brought the urban construction boom, square construction are put on the agenda, becoming an indispensable element of urban construction. The environment of square space grow and develop rapidly, becoming an important part of Urban public space. It provides a place for people to rest, get information, interact, and it even provides a touch of social and learning place. as people's living standards and quality improved, People's lifestyle and psychological needs are also undergoing profound changes, the existing square space environment design is lack of ideas and methods improvements, square space environment has the relative lag and blind accepting in many respects, cannot satisfy the city needs and civic identity.This paper analyzes the domestic foreign square space environment design ideas and methods and the development of relevant theoretical research, and aim at the problems existing in square space environment optimization idea and methods. Meanwhile, combining the urumqi city square, a example of practice, theory is applied in the space environment optimizing square theory and method of thinning and details.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part: from the perspective of square transverse design concept of space development stage, On the point of the city square achievements of China and the problems in square space design at home and abroad, I Proposed the design of status of the square space and theoretical basis.Part 2: I elaborates on the design optimization from three aspects of square .
