Optical dot temperature measurement instrument is a new type of high temperature measuring device which is based on the theory of optical and thermal, using the principle of telescope and that applies ARM microprocessor LPC2131 which is low-power, high-performance, and low-cost in the meantime. Compared with the traditional infrared thermometer, it has a series of merits, especially such as irrelevant to the distance, surface area and radiance and truly realizes the goal of dot measure of temperature. It has the good application.This paper firstly expounds the development status and classification of the industrial measurement instrument, the defects and limitations of the infrared measuring temperature which is most commonly used are technically analyzed and explained, and the research significance of optical dot temperature measurement instrument is pointed out; The ARM kernel microprocessor is expounded in detail, and then the function characteristics and structure of the ARM kernel chip LPC2131 is analyzed; The overall structure design of optical dot temperature measurement instrument is described, based on the principle of dot-image telescope and using the fiber optics and self-focusing optical lens, the acquisition system of optical signal is designed; The functional requirements of system are analyzed in detail, the hardware modules of signal amplification, filtering, A/D converter, power supply, LCD, JTAG on-chip debugging are designed on the basis of the ARM core chip LPC2131 and also the functions performed by each module and design ideas are explained; The system software modules of data collection, interrupt handling, keyboard, LCD display, and non-linear correction are all introduced. The concrete realization of each unit function is described in the way of the flow chart. After the analysis of the lookup table and function fitting, nonlinear correction method based on the RBF neural network is proposed and simulated in MATLAB, and which precision is high for system calibration; For the case of serious interference in the harsh industrial environment, anti-jamming measures of the system hardware and software are proposed; C# programme language is used to write the system calibration software, and after calculating the third fitting factor of the least squares, the software is used to calibrate thermometer; The whole system of hardware and software are debugged, meeting the design requirements; In the end, the research contents and existing problems are summarized, and the further research work is prospected.This optical dot temperature measurement instrument has huge advantages on the measurement of the mobile high-temperature objects and small space. It weakens the distance limitations of non-contact thermometer, responses fast with the high accuracy, and has the certain value of research.
