Ballistic Missile Defense System is a weapon system for intercepting strategic Ballistic Missile from enemy and an efficacious recovery measure to antagonize ballistic missile. Information transmission network is the nerve center of Ballistic Missile Defense System, because it relative the real time transmission of all information of Ballistic Missile Defense System in campaign. Therefore, it is of great significance for us to simulative the information transmission network of Ballistic Missile Defense System. Because it is a great step to research and evaluate the development and battle effectiveness of ballistic missile defense system. And it has important reference value for us to confront MD successively and establish our own MD system. This paper describes the design and implementation of MD information transmission network simulation system using the High Level Architecture with the background of the best American ballistic missile defense system in the world.This paper can be summarized as the following sections:In first section, American Ballistic Missile Defense System and the information transmission network of all MD System.The second section describes architecture design for the MD simulation system and the station and constitutes of information transmission network in the all system. In the architecture design phase, the function requirement, the prototype design of Federation Object Model (FOM), the partition of HLA-based federates was stated. Every small system carved up according to the composing structure of MD simulation system is introduced simply. Then, the information transmission network small system as middle small system and other each small system are connected. There out all simulation platforms is founded.The last section introduced the models of information transmission network; it comprises net topology model, arithmetic of the best path and arithmetic of delay disposal. And this paper gives the detailed design and implementation of the information transmission network member, comprises the features, working flows and interfaces of co-working federates.
