This thesis studied efficient transmission of multi-type information in space tracking networks, including network resource allocation of video transmission, and useful information selecting solution. Studies were carried out on problems in transmission of multi-type information in space tracking networks, including key area blurring problems, improper allocation of resources, and adaptation algorithm for packet loss. Specifically, this thesis proposed a QoS-based video transmission algorithm, and studied how to improve the algorithm by discarding trivial information, and designed and implemented video partition and transmission on an open source network simulation platform.This thesis firstly introduced the background and related research of multi-type information transmission technology at home and abroad, and explained the main research directions of multi-type information transmission. This thesis has done the work as follows:(1) It improved a transmission scheme for motion image sequences based on QoS. It first analyzed the principle of network QoS and then applied it in the transmission scheme for motion image sequences. This part focused on the priority assignation of different partitions of a video by using a variety of key area identification algorithms to divide the motion image sequences, which resulted in better transmission. Experiments showed that the proposed transmission scheme perform better.(2) It studied minor information discarding in the transmission scheme. This part introduced problems in the transmission experiment, and then proposed the solution of discarding minor information. This method can lower the amount of data transmitted over the network, thereby improving the transmission efficiency of the network. Experiments compared the ordinary transmission scheme and the one with discarding minor information and showed the effectiveness of the mechanism of discarding minor information.(3) It designed and implemented a network transmission verification tool. This part introduced some open source tools and the combination in the implementation of the verification tool, and gave some interface screenshots.
