With the development of our freight car technology,the type K2 and type K6 bogie has been widely used in the freight car transportation of our country,not only complished the high speed need, but also fullfilled the the heavy load demand.Not long before the workshop repair of qi freight car factory, some cracks appeared on the side frame and swing bolster,included the type 2 and type 6 bogie, through the methord of the magnaflux inspection. After the later research, make sure that the cracks were caused by the casting technique of the resin sand type Academically, it is usually called the hot crack. Absed on the crack question of the type2 and type 6 bogie, we shoud do some research to find the cause of the bogie crack, and insure the remaind life of the boige, get the influence of the carck on the side frame and swing bolster.During this thesis, throug the indoor small sample specimens test, get the 90% confidence and the survival rate of the 50% and 90% material's p-S-N curves. Replenish the test specification of the freight car bogie. Combined with the loading spectrum of AAR box wagon during the bad working environment, did the indoor spectrum imitation experiment. Throug this test to insure the fatigue safe life of the type 2 and type 6 bogie. From the macroscopic perspective, combined with the crack's length and wideth, analysed the effect of the crack on the bogie.. From microcosmic perspective, we get the reasons and mechanism of the side frame and swing bolster crack. We also do the simulation analysis of the the side frame and swing bolster to insure the strength of the fatigue.
