Research On Traffic Information Distribution Method Selecting Based On Travelers Demand

The advanced traveler information system is one important part of intelligent transportation system (ITS), is the request of development and management of modem traffic. Traveler information service system makes travelers' traffic behavior more scientific planning and rationality, is an important symbol of intelligent transportation system. Distribution method of different information service systems are not identical, different information distribution method's information service content and the costs also differ in thousands of ways. With the rapid development of information distribution method, traffic information distributed by what method can both meet the information needs and lose costs become a critical issue.The main content of this paper is how to select the best method of traffic information distribution based on travelers demand. Firstly, it is classify the traffic information distribution method to 9 kinds and 17 species, then analyzing the content, service object, advantages and disadvantages of them. Secondly, it is analyze the information demand based on travelers demand, classifying the information service content and information service object. Analyzing each stage of the service object information needs and got the adapt relationship chart between distribution methods and travelers demand. Thirdly, it is analyze the classic finitude projects multi-target optimize select methods, it put forward the TOP SIS mode which will be the traffic information distribution optimize selecting mode. It is constituted the estimate target system of the optimize mode, and bring AHP and entropy method to receive the value of the target weight, and constitute the appropriate optimize mode in selecting the traffic information distribution method. Which, it creatively reflected the needs of travelers in the target system. Lastly, with Beijing example, it is qualitative analysis the status of Beijing transportation information distribution; select the best method of traffic information distribution; get the best combination of comprehensive benefits program; and give the advice on development of Beijing traffic information distribution.
