Automobile industry is a high-speed developing industry, especially in last few years, as the domestic independent brand development gradually rise, product homogeneity serious, increasingly fierce competition, the new product launch speed is getting faster, which push the auto industry seek new to significantly reduce the automotive product development cycle and development costs with new methods. The traditional car design method relys on physical test obviously can't satisfy the increasingly fierce competition in the market demand, a based on the computer simulation technology of computer aided engineering (CAE) quickly development, FEA plays an inestimable role in automotive production developement.Car passive safety technology researchon frontal impact performance is one of the indispensable important constituent, automobile frontal impact performance will have a direct impact on the occupant restraint system, and the difficulty of design of automobile frontal impact performance improvement needs to the following contents of research:1. The vehicle frontal impact analysis model method research2. Frontal impact test method of vehicle with parameters research3. Body structure of the positive influence on the performance of the collisionThrough this thesis research, the enterprise will form a set of his own vehicle modeling methods and standards, and to the frontal crash important parameters processing method and evaluation methods have a comprehensive understanding. This paper aimed at the final purpose through computer simulation method for enterprise search for a feasible optimization design, so as to reduce the development cycle, shorten the development time, reduce cost.
