The strategic positions of Air Defense Information Warfare have become increasingly prominent. And it is particularly important to evaluate the effectiveness of the anti-aircraft information warfare system correctly and objectively. It has an important significance on finding the weak links that constrains the performance of the system. Also it provides quantitative basis for the construction of the system. At the same time, it is conducive to plan the future development. And the efficiency value that is obtained through calculation is used for decision-making and seeking system optimum allocation scheme.In this thesis, we did some research on the performance evaluation of the air defense information warfare around the construction and reduction of evaluation index system, the calculation of the index weight, the efficiency evaluation model and the evaluation method based on the rough sets theory of the Air Defense Information Warfare.The major work and conclusions of present thesis are: Fistly, the development status and the existing problems of the efficiency evaluation are analyzed. Secondly, the selection of evaluation index and the establishment of the evaluation index system are studied on the premise of lots of reference books and full analysis. Thirdly, various factors that influence the efficiency of the system are discussed. Also, the evaluation model is established. In the process of efficiency evaluation, the rough theory is used to reduce the index system and eliminate the redundant attributes to improve evaluation efficiency.On the analysis of method based on rough sets theory, and the evaluation of efficiency is a no decision-making data analysis process because each attribute of the evaluation index system in military is conditional by using rough set reduction. The BCC algorithm is used in the process of data pretreatment. Each attribute is choosed for be dealed as a whole in the discretization. And the indiscernibility relation of information system is taken into account. The HORAFA algorithm is used in data reduction. The efficiency of reducing information system is very high by using the frequency of attribute in the discernibility matrix. The objective weights are obtained with the role of index importance in the indiscernility relation of index system from the perspective of rough sets. It is objective to determine the weight with such method. It does not contain any subjective weight or priori knowledge weight. And it can information that are provided by data. Also it reduces the interference of the artificial setting. Finally, the simulation of system under certain situation is done by using example, the result demonstrates the feasibility of the method.
