At present, study on seismic behavior of underground structure is relatively backward at home, especially the number of projects whose subway station was under crossed by tunnel grew continuously. This paper combined the project of Wukesong subway station which had been undercrossed by the tunnels of south-to-north water diversion project, based on part of the information and monitoring data, adopt the theory and numerical analysis, studied the seismic behavior of existing subway station affected by the under crossing tunnels and revealed the mechanisms, provided some references on further improve the rational, the design and construction of the tunnel and the establish of the code. The main contents and results are as follows:(1) Earthquake damage and its characteristic, dynamic performance,research activities were summarized, and the theory research method was elaborated. Measurement of earthquake-proof was introduced. theory of three-dimensional finite element calculation and numerical model and the solution of equation of motion of interaction of soil-structure were listed. The good points and bad points and scope of application of analysis modes on soil used by now are summarized.(2) The project of Wukesong subway station under-crossed by the two tunnels of the South-to-North Water Transfer project was taken as background and numerical model was established. The selection of the parameters was listed, Interaction of Soil–Structure was considered, The Finite Element Method for Dynamic Analysis was adopted, the affection construction progress and the reinforce were ignored, Preliminary Study on seismic resistance of the subway station before and after under-crossed by the tunnels, some advice was given.(3) The performance of subway station affected by the distance of the two tunnels in seismic in certain buried depth.(4) The paper pointed out the necessity to analyze the seismic response of existing subway station under-crossed by the tunnels. It is believed that, in the design and construction of water tunnel, the amount of stress and displacement incremental of the existing subway station should be fully considered in order to ensure the security of structure and normal operation of subway station. Two criteria for design and construction of underground metro were proposed, namely criteria for stress control and criteria for displacement control. Stress control criteria controls the growth of the amount stress of the existing subway station traversed by the new structure, to make the incremental of stress maintain at a certain level. Displacement control criteria makes the relative displacement of two structures maintains at a certain level after crossing of the tunnel.
