The industry of energy has the deepest influence about the future, and the problem of energy is always crucial to the world development. Nowadays, the world is short of the energy sources.As the symbol of modern world, the automobile engine is enduring of a great challenge by the lack of energy sources. The ultimate way of resolving the problem is decreasing the lean of the petroleum sources in this century. Explore and exploit the new energy sources are very important. The research on making the low heating value gas mixed hydrogen fuel as the flue of engine has became a focus in the field of new energy.The content of the paper is the research on the performance of the low heating value(LHV) gas mixed with flue engine. The object of the research is low heating value gas mixed with hydrogen gas flue engine. Take the experiment to research the engine's performance. Make the low heating value gas mixed with the hydrogen gas flue as the components and the proportion of real low heating value gas flue and to research the engine's performance on the low heating value gas flue.Change the low heating value gas engine to a low heating value gas mixed with hydrogen flue engine by changing the figure of the firebox firstly, adding the ignition system and fueling supply system.Then do experiment research on the low heating value gas mixed with hydrogen flue engine, and it gets the conclusion from the result of experiment as follow.(1)When burned with the low heating fuel, the max pressure of engine is lower than that burned with CNG..(2)The emission of HC and CO is higher than that of CNG when burned with the low heating fuel, while the NOx and CO2 is lower than that of CNG..(3)The max pressure is raised when the hydrogen is mixed, and the influence of the throttle is important to the crank angle.(4)The emission of CO, CO2 and HC is low in the engine of low heating value gas mixed with hydrogen flue, while the NOx is high.(5)The catalytic efficiency of oxidized catalytic is almost 100% for CO, and the catalytic efficiency for HC is firstly dropped and then raised with the increasing of load.
