At present, the problem of electromagnetic radiation caused by electric railway is a much more important problem than before in China, the discharge process of pantograph and catenaries' off-line spark is one of the most important electromagnetic interference sources, the previous main study of pantograph and catenaries system is the improvement of structure and performance, little on its Electromagnetic Interference near the train. On the other hand, as the speed of electric railway is increasing constantly, the traditional measurement method of radiated radio interference caused by moving electric locomotive has lots of limitations and needs some reasonable improvements.In light of the inadequacies of the present research situation, this paper choice the radiation noise caused by the off-line discharge as the research target. The noise radiation field internal and external of the train is analyzed by simulating models of the off-line of pantograph and catenaries and the test work on train. On the above basis a new measurement method inside of the train was put forward in the paper, and the measurement method was used in the EMC test of the test train.The main contents are as follows. The causes and characteristics of pantograph and catenaries'off-line spark has been introduced at first in the thesis, and then the single created of off-line spark was measured by the electric field probe which had been installed on the top of the train. The direct and detailed test data of the noise single had been collected. It was the first time to install the probe on the top of the train to measure noise caused by the off-line discharge. From above work we knew some factors which could influence off-line discharge noise, and the spectrum characteristics of the noise. A series of pantograph and catenaries'off-line model were set up to simulate and calculate the distribution of the electric field near the train and the radiation pattern by using Electromagnetic software. The simulation result shown that the train window was a proper position to measure the discharge noise, and got 100MHz noise single's common rule and peculiarity. At last on the test train, lots of EMC test work had been done by using various equipments and measurement at different position of the train. It was proved that the new measurement of pantograph and catenaries'off-line noise on train windows was feasible, through analyzing and contrast the date from both simulation and test work. Finally, the last chapter summarizes the harvest of the research and the experience of, and points the direction of the further research.
